Frankly, I'm tired of seeing everyone in the NL West make moves except the NL Division Champs, the San Diego Padres; let me refrase that, make good moves and no bad ones. What on earth were they thinking sending Barfield away for another potential Sean Burrows. Barfield was a fan favorite and ready to produce for years for the Padres. Instead we still don't have a second baseman or a third baseman. Why don't we ship out KG while we're at it?

We can toot horns all we want on this dude Kuzmansada, or whatever his name is, but we're basing that on AAA stats; which is what we did for Sean Burrows also and what did he do for us...and the answer is, NOTHING. Not sure why we let Piazza go also; he not only had some clutch hits for us last year, but he had the best stats among all catchers offensively....another fantastic move. Along w/ Dave Roberts and Woody Williams, we just continue to let performers go and do nothing.

What do we do w/ that money, we spend all our money on Maddux who's washed up and is good for 6 innings max these days. Can we get Towers to figure it out in the office some miraculous day and figure it out? Sandy needs to take over the job and work it out because we aren't doing much. Sure we won 2 consecutive NL West crowns in a row, but did it matter, we (Padre fans) knew they weren't going to do much, but we hold out hope for our team because we love them.

Make some moves and get it done Towers! We're sending all our team players to different teams. Getting rid of Bochy is acceptable, but not much else we've done in the front office has been. Guess we're just gonna have to do what we've done the last two years, win the division w/ heart and hopefully make some trades to do something in the playoffs.
