they are going to be in contention if the pitching holds up with Carpenter ,Wainwright and Lohse anchoring that rotation,,the bullpen is NOT going to blow 31 games this year,,and who else is going to compete for this division,,the cubbies? that's my point,,they will be contenders this year,,GO CARDINALS !

so if Glaus hits his 25 HRs,,80-90 RBIs and hit's .280 he is gone ??[/quote] I would say yes if the Cardinals are not in contention; no if they are in contention. His personal stats don't matter as much as where the team is in the standings.

:cool: If someone can step up and take over 3rd base while Glaus is out ,watch him get traded fast ,because it's is last yr. and STL. will not resign him with Freeze, Wallace waiting to take over plus they will be cheaper to keep then Glaus. By the trading dateline if there is a team out there like the Giants that are in need of a 3rd baseman say goodbye to Glaus.:D

:D Thats the only thing to be happy about this coming yr. Green will be upgrade from last yr. and has good power , I hear he will be batting in the 6 th slot not bad,as for the bullpen well I think it will come down to someone being traded maybe Glause.:rolleyes:
