Why would the Mets sign Sheffield? Someone please explain?
He is a malcontent who over values himself....shows up on teams and is under the self appointed impression that he was hired as the teams leader..He will undermine every veteran and fan favorite on the team.. He will take credit for every win, every young players developement and cause division withing the locker.
He will gather allies on the team...the young guys and the guys that are not happy with their roles... He then will use these guys as a tool to wedge himself into the percieved leadership role.
He is a cancer. He attributed his not getting any Endorsement deals to racism...LOL He is baseballs version of Terrel Owens...a team eater
I am a Yankee fan but a NY baseball fan I we witnessed it first hand when he made rediculous staements that ''I am the leader on this team, guys like Jeter, Posada nuh uh, I am the real leader, ask the players''...this was his quote to reporters after being benched vecause he had a bad wrist..Bad move as he was axed the following year....good luck
I wish the Mets well...Just pray he gets injured soon and you won't have to deal with him.....wait until the media surrounds his next week....OMG
