I hope Canning Jr will buy the Cubs and not Cuban. Cuban is only out to field a winner and will spend all the $$ he can to get a Championship. That means a 200 mil Cubs payroll. If Cuban becomes the owner, the Cubs will pretty much be fielding one of the best, if not the best eams in abseball ebcuase Cuban will ahve no problem dumping $250 mil and could possibly spend $150 just this offseason :(. He would only bettr the Cubs and hurt the Brewers. On the other hand, if you want to screw the Cubs, which is going to happen because Bud Selig is, lets face it, a Wisconsin native and is totally biased towards the Brewers and will do anything to see his Brewers shine. Canning is a long time Brewer shareholder and is Best Freinds with Bud Selig, who used to run the crew. These two are best of buddies and I think Canning would soley be in it for profit, thus hopefully having somewhat of a fire sale and getting rid of a couple of the big name players, or even better, trading away the goodies to Milwalkee for Lemons lol. I mean Selig pretty much has a hand in all of the Brewers happenings, why wouldn't he have a baised hand in the Cubs if Canning is owner? Wouldnt it be lovely??
