I say put Either at 1st and trade Loney. We will miss his 2 HR,and his glove. keep Pierre in the OF when Mannywood comes back. Pierre has stepped up his game and has become one of the leaders for the Dodgers. Maybe with the money we saved from Manny, just maybe we should have signed Pedro Martinez to atleast a minor league contract and work his way into the starting rotation. Loney has to go......not a big threat.........................GO BLUE

The Dodger farm system is just recovering from the Kevin Malone era!!! They should leave Peavy alone!! The Padres will ask the world for him, to be traded to a divison rival!!

The Dodgers will not trade Kemp...but they could trade Ethier. That would be a shame, because Ethier will return to form when Manny gets back. More likley is they will trade Pierre for a starting pitcher... probably straight up. He's playing over his head right now, but it shows what he can do when he has to fight for it. It's the trade that makes sense.

I seriously doubt the padres would trade Peavy to the Dodgers for anything less than kemp and 2 or 3 prospects, simply b/c the dodgers are in their division. If they did that it would be the worst trade in their history. I can see him going to Atlanta, Chicago, or New York. By the way go Dodgers

of course the dodgers aren't gonna get peavy. how would they? the padres, like everyone want be in the playoffs and they certainly arent gonna trade him to the best team in baseball. The only thing they dodgers lasck is a couple more dominant pitchers. If they got peavy, the padres would just have no chance of winning the division.

You Dodger fans are delusional. The Pads are not sending you Peavy for anything but the farm. You are the last place they want to see him. And for us to add Gonzo to the trade? Are you crazy? Peavy is a top 10 pitcher in the NL - worth quite a bit. If we didn't have a bonehead owner, we would be keeping him and building a team that could compete with you. Wait a couple of seasons and let's see where we are.
