I do not understand why so many people are so surprised and upset with Manny Ramirez getting caught with a banned substance. This is a common thing in sports. For the people that complain and go to the games, STOP BUYING TICKETS!

I am looking for a lawyer to file a class action lawsuit against "Franny" R. My friends and I specifically bought very expensive tickets to a Phillies-Dodgers game may 12 to see him play.. I feel that we were defrauded.. It is the old bait and switch maybe???? But I feel that Manny definitely defrauded us and that we paid for a product that was impure and false.... Somebody needs to make these people pay for the rest of us who pay good money to see a certain product and then get a lesser or cheapened product... and all this sympathy for him... give me a break!! Do you honestly think that if he was a "lousy" player on a losing team that he would get all this sympathy?? NO Way!No one feels sympathy for me and my $100.00 plus dollars that I spent that night... Lets make these people pay and then maybe they will take some pride in putting out a true and good product... something not tainted by untruths and lies. Know a lawyer???????Canada888@verizon.net

richboats]So Cal...It s not fair to the fans.....I am YANKEE fan and have had to deal with this crap for years....it seemed as though the Yankee players were the ones they were after...but if you apply common sense it stands to reason that every team had them and apparently still do....now what I don't understand is why he would think he could slip by without getting caught

SoCa, the reason you don't understand is because you are using common sense. These guys don't seem to have the common sense you have. They think they can get away with it, so they do it. It doesn't make sense, but that's probably it, in a nu wrote:

Typical. Talented guy who lets fame and fortune go to his head. Feels rules don't apply to him, because he is special. Fame is fleeting. In ten years we will remember him as "That guy who was suspended for doing drugs---uh---what was his name???" Talented people lose their jobs every day in the real world. MLB needs to get in the real world and send these prima donna's paclking.

terlizzi1227]i think he should fight if he didnt use steroids????????

______________________________________________________________

If he fights and it becomes a problem later in the season, then he's not there for his team in the playoffs. And to the other guy who asked if we take meds without knowing what they are...yep!!! If my doc says it'll get me over whatever I'm under, I don't need to know all the medical mumbo-jumbo. Just give me the drugs and get me over thi wrote:

Cool but ignorant statement

I always find it funny the hysteria around sports by so many people who probably couldn't even name their Congressman.

Baseball is a GAME for crissakes. :(

Tell me about it. Reading some of the undaunted ignorance posted here, it scares me that some of these people are actually operable in society. The dumbing down of America has gone WAY overb wrote:

There's a reason Manny isn't challenging the "doctor prescibing" medication to him. He's not telling the truth and knows he would get caught if he tried to denie it.

Yea Right Manny And the devil made me do it! and I was only following orders when I help kill millions in the holocasut. And It was just a little fun and games at Abu Grahb. Always the victim. I suppouse Many never wondered why is arms and legs seem to sweel up and burst at the seams.

Maybe he should just say " No Speaka the english too GooD"

What a bunch of crap! Get real and test every player a few times each season and kick out the drug users and abusers.

Oh wait! The playesr unions won't let that ever happen because the unions are so concerned about a "DRUG FREE" America. Another case of a priveleged few used by the owners to keep the bucks comming in.. I guess someday we will find that some of the "SUPER STARS" are aliens or cyborgs. So what who really needs this BS anyway
