Kershaw has a devastating curveball. He is penciled in as the 4th starter. They expect him to have over 200 innings this year and over 175k's. He is gonna be 21 in April I believe and so far he has not had arm troubles in either minors or majors. 100% healthy.

Lady...
I need some input on Kershaw....I know he throw's a lot of heat...is he in the rotation ? and will he be all year ??

We had a couple decent pitchers in San Bernardino when I was there. Aires (sp?) threw a no no there and wasn't too bad, McDonald was the one who was consistent all year. He was transfered to Jacksonville near the end of the season.
The Sox board gets like that sometimes. You got to take a breather every now and then. Haven't seen too many things from the LA-SF rivalry yet, although I am going to my first game between them this year at the stadium. Should be interesting.

McDonald is a good kid from what I hear. He has a good fastball and is fearless. Heck, he is pitching better as a starter than as a reliever. Nice to see baseball is back. I can tell by the way Yanks and Bosox fans are fighting on the Boston board. The rivalry is heating up hahahaha. LA and SF fans fight on another "sports' blog. I get on here because it is so funny. Looks like Gilligan (richboats) is having diarrhea of the mouth again and making the Boston fans fume. Hahahaha!

I know he was with (1) Twins(2)Bosox and (3)Pirates. I think he played with the Yanks too. BTW, looks more and more like James McDonald will be the 5th starter.

Lade....what do you think about DeWitt? I worked with Inland Empire when he played there, thought he was a nice kid, fun to hang out with. He's not a bad player either. Jamie McDonald was with us too. He's definately going to be nasty for you guys.[/quote]

Not much power but a good little swing and a hardnosed middle infielder. DeWitt would learn a lot from Loretta. McDonald was awesome in the playoffs[/quote]

WELL, DON'T DISMISS THE GUYS WHO MAY NOT HAVE A LOT OF POWER BUT IF THEY HAVE A NICE SWING...AND CAN GET ON BASE...OR ALLOW OTHERS TO ADVANCE AND THEY OFFER GOOD DEFENSIVE SKILLS...THIS IS WHAT WINNING TEAMS ARE MADE OF....KIND OF LIKE OUR RED SOX...
HAVING A TEAM FULL OF SUPERSTARS OR THE GUY WHO HITS THE MOST HOME RUNS, DOESN'T GAURANTEE ANY WORLD SERIES WINS...SEE THE NEW YORK YANKEES....
