No kidding, I don't think there is many Astro fans out there.  I started a new post about the Astros pathetic attempts to drive in runs this year, if your interested in new material.

Yeah  - I just posted something on Joe Buck and see that everything else is from 2007;  guess some things never change, eh?

Hey Steve, i'm doing the same thing you are attempting to do; get promoted.  Some of these posts are about two years old, we need to get new material for our team forum.

Just 21 points and I won't be a rookie anymore. Unless I have a post removed...

Do you think Joe Buck actually studies? Does his own research before a game? Do you think he's familiar with the hideous Rule 5 draft in MLB, the one that allows teams that don't do BO OR DIDLEY in terms of drafting to steal another team's hard work? As if the imbalanced payroll challenges aren't bad enough.

Anway, do you think Joe knows that Houston's "whiff" on Santana involved his being in A ball at the time when he was whiffed....errrrrrr....whisked away?

I know, it's easy to nitpick the on-air comments these guys make, but in THIS particular case it's necessary to point out a total lack of perspective that he demonstrated with his remark, which would hint that he didn't necessarily do his homework before the broadcast, prefering to take in all the party action.

VERY disappointed that he would make a McCarver-ish/Morgan-ish (read uninformed) statement like that on the air.
