I was just wondering why there were comments on Huff.  That was three years ago, who is responsible for updating this page.  If we are going to talk about something could somebody tell me who we drafted this year and how good are they.

Aubrey Huff was not that good and didn't produce well as an Astro. Sharing a spot with 2 other guys will not motivate anybody. Have no idea way they brought him in. Carlos has a good bat and a good attitude. We have done well with him.

As of today, Lee is doing very well. Lamb is holding on strong, but ernsberg is not quite there ( he may never be). Lets hope oiur pitching holds up cuz once our offence gets going.....LOOK OUt!!!!!!!!!!:p

Underachieved:confused:
The guy was pretty clutch when I saw him.
If you want to talk about underacheivers talk about Morgan Ensberg. Don't get me wrong I am a big fan of Mo's but the guy has not lived up to expectations.

I don't know what you guys were expecting from Huff? I wasn't too familiar with him as a Devil Ray. All I wanted was a guy who would bring in runs for a change.

I have a buddy who works in the 'Stros front office....he is somewhat connected but by no means not a big fish in the pond!
Huff has a 25% chance of returning on '07.
He underachieved with the Astros this year, however, could very well be somewhat of an impact player....but where do you play him? With Lamb and Morgan E. at 3rd base ir leaves Huff the odd man out. Lamb is too good as a reserve to trade or dimiss. Morgan could have a comeback year in '07.
Then again if frogs could fly........
Tough decision......3 talented players, all with their respective qualities.
I don't think Morgan will have 2 back to back off years. It looks like it's Morgans' job to lose.
If the Astros don't resign Huff/he'll probably go off and have a career year with Arizona....aka Gonzo!
NOTE: Baggs is HOF bound....maybe not first ballot, but he'll get there. A true blue class act any sports team dreams about!
Thanks for the many years Jeff! The Dome cost you about 100 HR's.
Jeff also was one of 5 players to hit the roof of the dome.......anyone care to guess who else acomplished this remarkable feat?
CLUE: The Mickster was the first in an exhibition game in 1965, (I was there) when the Yanks played the Astros in the first game played at the 8th wonder of the world.
Also, Carlos Lee: drop 25 pounds, oil up your glove and put up solid numbers, improve your defense and we'll feel good about those big bucks you're taking to the bank.
'Stros fan forever!

What do we need with Huff? We have Ensberg & Lamb at 3rd. Aubrey is worse than mediocre in the outfield. He's worth no more than the league minimum to serve as a pinch hitter.

Are the Stros' content with Carlos Lee? I was amped up when I heard they signed him but then I realized they have not signed Huff. What's the deal? Any news on Huff?
