So the Reds were moving from Ohio? I've never heard that before. Granted I've not lived in Ohio since 1980. But I can not see anyway MLB would let the Reds move. Pete Rose did what he did. But with out question he should be in the Hall of Fame!!!!!

Pete Rose may have bet on Baseball as manager for the Cincinnati Reds. But lets just look at why he was put in that position to start with. Marge Schott and the Red's were getting ready to move this organization. The brainstorm behind keeping the team was to bring in the one guy who could save baseball in Cincy. He did that, his presence alone put fans in the seats and brought the Red's back to a little respectability in Basball. His managerial career never would have gotten his name into the Hall of Fame, but, His playing days is what the die hard baseball fans will remember. Not that he bet on baseball, but the way he played the game. My point being is that when Baseball wants to use Pete Rose to build the game they do and when they want to save their own face they use him as an exmple of how they keep the "Holy Name" of baseball sacred.

Pujolspower..... I was on the yankees board and saw your comment saying that Arod was nothing but a cheater. Your reference was the admittance that he had used steroids. I challenged you on three different occasions to give the world your opinion of Mark Mcguire. Yet you continue to HIDE, step up be a man, get on Yankees board and tell the world. Or do you have the courage?

Yes folks, what Bill Belichek did corrupted the integrity of all the Patriots victories under his regime. He cheated, period. Pete Rose earned every one if his hits with no help of steroids or HGH. None of Pete's bets were for his Reds to lose nor was he ever found guilty of throwing games like the 1919 Black Sox. The way I see it, MLB should be bending over and kiss Rose's a$$ and beg for forgiveness. Any other player with an addiction problem (ie. Steve Howe, Dwight Gooden, Daryl Strawberry) and MLB went through exhausting lengths to redeem them, not the same treatment they gave to Rose which to this day still has a gambling problem. MLB can BITE MY A$$.
