I do understand that Griffey will stay a RED player , I always thought he would be the one breaking the homerun record if it weren't for his injuries and all, I would not mind having Dunn he's great to watch hit them out ,what about the Cards giving up on a left handed hitting catcher from AAA with power and Chris Duncan? maybe throw in Anthony Reyes for Dunn?
Anyway good Luck this year .:)

Well, Griffey's 600th is out of the way, but he's still here - hitting .250, 7 HR's,, and batting third. Would the Seattle fan above PLEASE arrange for him to go "home"? NOW, before we waste the rest of the season with that jacka## in the three hole. Oh, and now his knee "hurts". Should have laid off the damn steroids when he was in Seattle, maybe wouldn't have spent most of the last 10 years on the DL and/or "sulking"... HOF? Not for anything he's done in Cincy; do they have a spot in the HOF for half careers? And, really, what did he do for you all in Seattle? The only time Griffey can put on a World Series ring is if his old man loans him one. Do I sound bitter? Yes, because of all the damn money he was paid to sit on the DL, play half-heartedly, and mope around, when that money could have been used to build a team. What a waste these "Junior" years have been.

Hello I agree with your teade ideas ,but I don't think you will get Hamilton back now the way he is desoying the ball as for Dunn I would keep him stick him on firstbase for good (that boy can really hit them ) Griffey I could see him gone before the year is over , I forgot to mention I am a Cardinal fan and yet your Reds always open up my eyes I think with this rookie you guys bought up all you need is pitching and my Cards will have company in this divison with the Astros and Cubbies ,this no longer will be a weak divison I can see 3 or 4 teams fight it out , good luck to you all.

Reds need to get Bruce in lineup and retool. Whether it's Griffey &/or Dunn, the time has come. I'd move Dunn and his Ks and terrible defense personally.

I agree that Griffey should be traded along with some other players too!! I think Weathers, Arroyo, Hatteberg, and Encarnacion should be on the block. I never liked that trade of Arroyo for Shawn Casey at all and i didn't like the trade for Hamilton either, but i do like Volquez though. Arroyo and Weathers in a trade plus Dunn for Matt Garza, Carl Crawford. Wouldn't it have been great if we had Dunn in lf, Carl Crawford in CF, and Josh Hamilton back in RF ??? WE could try to put Dunn at first and maybe trade Hatteberg for somebody or Votto even. We do need some more pitching, especiall our middle relief, which is 0-3 right now; Burton, Weathers, Lincoln each have a loss in this young season.

Why trade him now? He hasn't been injured ar much as he used to and he's producing. he sits butts in seats. He's on his way to his 600th homer, that'll sell a lot of tickets! Plus there are only a hanful of teams that want to take his contract at his age. Griff should stay in Cincy!

Very few teams would be willing to take the risk that is associated with Griffey's contract... and like it or not... Griffey brings fans to the park.
