From 1969 through 1993,24 years, when a League Championship Series determined pennant winners, the team with the best record won the WS only 7 times.During those years,9 teams that had the best regular season record didn't even make it to the WS.From 1995 through 2006,a Divisional series system has been part of the playoff picture. In that period, only once,1 time, has a team with the best overall record won the WS.In 8 of those 12 seasons, the team with the best record did not even reach the WS.
what logic am I misleading here ? you tell me how am I using them in the wrong context.

Your interpretation of the statistics lacks logic. Only like minded people who lack any critical thinking skills would agree with your assessment. Also, the fact that the Cubs have had no success in winning the World Series over the last 100 years is beyond our control and is not a reflection of our personal character. It would be nice to see them win one, but in the end it is only a game. Your behavior, however, coming to a Cubs message board and stirring the pot, is behavior that I would expect from a 14 year old. I don't even know what the purpose of your posts are, to inform by using poor logic? Even if the Cubs never win the World Series, many of us here will still be Cubs fans. Actually, I expect no less from you in your support of your team.
how do you figure it lacks logic,,all I put out there was numbers,,they don't lie.Check it out yourself and tell me where the "no Logic" is
I never stated that the statistics have "no logic." I used the terms "lack logic" and "poor logic" to assess your ability to put them (the statistics) in context. You both misquoted and misunderstood me. Perhaps I will have to dumb down my posts in the future to avoid any confusion.

and by the way,,trying to sound intelligent on a computer lacks logic also,,most people, except cubbiesrcomin, know how to spell and use big words,,so I'm not impressed with your post at all,,but keep rooting for your team,,I don't have a problem with that.
What does "trying to sound intelligent on a computer" have to do with a lack of logic? Do you know the meaning of the word "logic"? Even if you do, you have yet to show that you have the ability to use it. Besides, compared to your posts, sounding intelligent does not take much of an effort. Your argument is getting weaker, but be my guest, keep trying.
