I think the Yankees have done a good job actually holding onto their talent recently, but the Braves have developed much greater talent than the Yanks.
I think the Expos did a good job in the 90's too.

Not to mention Philips, Karstans,Ramirez,Olendorf who are all on the Roster and contributing to the club
I know the Braves have some players on the team that came through the system, but not like the Yankees.
I could produce two pages of others that are playing elsewhere.
