donnkit]I missed the 10 best moments in Diamondback history. Where can I find them ?????
do the dbacks have a history?
In their first five seasons of existence, the Diamondbacks won three division titles (1999, 2001, & 2002) and one World Series (2001) They also won the division in 2007, giving them 4 division titles in 10 years of baseball. In 1999, Arizona won 100 games in only its second season to win the National League West. Reaching the World Series in only 4 years of existence by an expansion team is a MLB record. The DBacks also outscored the 3 time defending World Champion Yankees 37-14. They don't call it "The most exciting series ever" for no reason. Game 6 was the biggest beating the Yankees have taken in 289 post season tries.
Dodgers have only won 1 post season game since 1998, actually they haven't won a post season game in 20 years. Dodgers have 3 division titles since 1988, but only 1 since 1998. Dodgers did not win 100 games that year they won the division. Even the Giants managed to win 100 games in '03.
Looks like the D'backs have accomplished more than the Dodgers since we were introduced into the league (1998). Anything the Dodgers have done before '97 is pretty much moot in this arguement, but I chose to bring up certain things before you started to flash crede wrote:
