Mark and Daron, I have a question regarding something I heard on saturday nights broadcast with Daron and Mr.Garagiola. Mr. G. quoted the great Ted Williams saying that the batter needs to know three strike zones;his own the pitcher's and the umpire's. Do the pitcher and catcher take into account who is calling the game when coming up with their gameplan?Umpires do have tendencies and it would seem logical to pitch to them provided they don't conflict with the batter's strengths.
