While reading Max Lucado's book, "God Came Near", I ran across his chapter entitled, Family Sedans of the Faith. In it, Lucado pays tribute to your father saying, "He has been called the 'family sedan' of baseball's men on the mound" (referring to an Inside Sports article of September 1986). I would be glad to send you this chapter of Lucado's book if you aren't familiar with it.
