I like the signing personally. It gives them a deadly dh. Thomas I doubt will have injuries due to the fact he wont play the field. It also gives them a power threat to protect Glaus. As for Spiere, I think League will be better in the long run. Better velocity and control. He just needs to work on his offspeed stuff. Also I dont see the Jays resigning Wells. He wants to go closer to home (texas) so I suggest trading him for a Starter, and a shortstop. Or Load up on draft picks.
