For the most part Hamilton really crashed the wall hard and over the top to make the catch. It was absolutely incredible. He received bruised ribs and a pulled groin muscle to save the hit from being a home-run. I'm surprised he wasn't carried off on a stretcher. I'll give him a pass on not tipping his hat. I'd bet his head was ringing too loud to even hear the roar of the crowd!

Hey Josh and Tom.........

Since I was a youth about 60 years ago, my coaches and others told me, "If you make a great catch and the crowd gives you a standing 0 or long clapping," the player should doff his cap to the fans before going into the dugout. Josh Hamilton failed to do this after his stupendous catch in center field. He should have done so!! Would you take this up with him, please?
Thanks

I live in Carrollton, a Dallas suburb. Had no problems at all with Verizon FIOS. I saw the entire game. Some people having Comcast issues. Nice win anyway!. I'll be at the game Sunday. Go Rangers! ... Hell they're usually almost mathematically eliminated by now.:D

Sat. afternoon 4:45...saw about 5 pitches of Rangers/Angels on Fox/KXVA/Abilene, then game jumped back to Mets/Giants...
Also...is "the Wave" distracting to the players?? Is there any way to put a stop to it?? Seems to me, if the fans are so interested in doing that, then they aren't paying much attention to the game...
