I'm not worried about the runs. They will come. I am more concerned about the pitching and defense holding up.

Texas pitching is often the target of criticism, and rightfully so. But I'm concerned with the consistency of the offense. Last night, against the Whitesox, was the 6th time this season where the pitching staff held the opposition under 5 runs, and we still lost. Millwood has taken the brunt of it this year, too. He has the lowest ERA on the team, but still only has a 3-3 record.
Scoring runs in bunches in fun to watch. And the team is usually at the top when it comes to runs, and homeruns. But who is going to provide the offense in crunch time? Where will the runs come from when it counts? If this first place standing somehow holds true, and the Rangers make the playoffs, they won't get very many chances to win games 9-1 or 12-4.
