Well Mrs. Phillyfan08 I have had more opportunities to celebrate Championships than you have and not once did I find myself handcuffed in the back seat of a cruiser. I

Hey Bstnbest & Paperboys, I am far from a bandwagon jumper, born & bred in the Phiily area & have been a fan of the Phillies & Flyers all my life. Can't say the same about the Eagles. I was at the parade when the Flyers won in 74 & 75 & when the Phillies won in 1980 so as far as a band wagon jumper you can stick that comment. Now onto the Yankess, I've been a fan for over 15 years & an Angels fan since the late 70's. Doesn't matter how many post I have, I have a life & don't spend it on the computer.

I've seen the best & the worst of the Phllies tieams & the do deserve to win. They are the World Champs, just enjoying the sound of that!!!

And oh by the way, I'm not a he, I'm a she:D

A majority of the California fans are a very laid back bunch...I don't think they have the passion like we do with our teams...they go if they have nothing else to do...and always leave early....

Good call...that's why he got no response...he is the ultimate bandwagon jumper...
must be confused...a Yankee and Angel fan ?? I 'm going out on a limb here...but I would guess he became a yankee fan when they winning back to back championships...and a [hl=yellow]' New " Angels fan [/hl] this year,,,before the playoffs...

A lot of those out here since 2004. I moved out here during the 2004 playoffs. During my first Sox-Angels game in Anaheim, some asshole kept yelling at any Sox fan who walked by, asking them who the manager was before Tito. Finally, I rattled off the last three and then asked him to name any Angel manager before Scoscia. Couldn't do it.

And Dodgers fans are pretty bad as well. I went to game 5 of the NLCS (for a ticket, sad in itself) and I saw two fights behind be between Dodgers fans. Phillies fans got heckled but nothing too bad. They saved the fighting for themselves. One of the fights was over one guy thinking the other guy was sitting in his wrote:

After the first post on this thread, I thought maybe he was soggy under a new name. Same language used. So the Sox didn't belong in the playoffs. They finished third in the American League and 4th overall and had 95 wins which was three more then the Phillies. So if we didn't belong, what does that say for "your" Phillies?

I do believe the Sox went as far as the Dodgers. Actually, they went further forcing a game 7. Just a bit of advice, do not wait until you win it all to support your team. 4 posts to your name makes you a bandwagon phillyfan in 2008. Were you arrested after the Philly
