Well, here it is, late August, the Rays are 80-51, 4 games ahead of Boston and 10 games up on the Yankees and they have the best home record in baseball. Despite the injuries, they're still going strong. Last night they played a great game against Toronto, winning 1-0. Attendance at the game was 12,678. That translates to a stadium 65-70% empty. WAKE UP TAMPA/ST. PETE!!!!! :mad:

The fact is...they don't have the fan support they deserve...bottom line..and it's a shame because they are missing out on a pretty good team

If we take a long-term view, the Rays can still have a positive relationship with the fans. There is no reason why they can't.
Look at the Buccaneers, they have not always drawn well, but they do okay.
And please, the team doesn't play in Tampa nor in Tampa Bay.
