Mattingly? What did he get....11% of the vote? He was overrated while he played and the writers finally realize that when they look at his numbers. He is the only thing Yankees fans had to talk about when he played because of the mediocre talent they had during that period. He just seemed like he was good compared to all the other scrubs they had him playing with.

I agree with Jim Rice and Rickey Henderson being voted into the Hall of Fame. Hopefully, Andre Dawson and Tim Raines will follow next year.

I am fine with Rice's induction, however i am tired of the snobs continuing to leave out people like Mattingly and Blyleven. It is time tat the fans get to choose who goes into the Hall.

What criteria do hall voters use? How do they continually ignore one of the great pitchers in Bert Blyleven? Jim Rice does not deserve to be in the Hall. Numbers do not compare to Blyleven's.
