If McGuire deserves the hall, then does Barry,Sammy, Alex and Manny also deserve to be in too???????

Mark McGuire is a baseball icon, should be welcomed into the hall of fame. Yeah I remember the questioning and mcguire admitting to using the testosterone enhancing drug from GNC. Clearly over the counter... Jus because he hit the gym got stronger and faster, as do most humans if effort is put into it, doesn't make him a candidate for steroids. Lot of envy goes into the questioning. I do however commend the ball players from back in the day, man they didn't have anything like we have nowadays, pure talent...

Correct me if im wrong people but last time I checked streoids or ther "precusors" were not among the banned substances on baseballs list when McGuire played in the game. Also last time I checked he admitted to using the steriod "precursor" androstenidione. Use of steroids or their "precursors" cant by themselves explain the achievements any sports playing individual in the sport of baseball. One first has to have some kind of natural athletic gift whether it be in the area of running the bases or hitting. Steriods just allowed those individulas who used them (hitters mostly) to do what they would have otherwise done without them more efficiently and with greater distance. He belongs in the Baseball Hall of Fame!!! :).
