In some respects it's too bad Barry Bonds makes too much money. I would love to see what he could do if he had hitters like Morneau and Hunter batting behind him. I think with those guys behind him in the order, he wouldn't get walked nearly as much. Question: Didn't Cuddyer play third sometime ago?

I think you have it right with goin with Redmond at DH and getting rid of Lew Ford. I think he's only hit 1 Hr this year and that was luck. I don't see why Gardy keeps putting him in the lineup or Terry Ryan hasn't gotten rid of him yet.
No offense to Viking fans, but Bradley would be like a Randy Moss on the Vikings (a destraction).

Well, I'm a little slow on this reply, about 3 weeks, but I think you are nuts. Bradley is a cancer on any team. Also, it seems you have not watched any Twins games this year, because Cuddyer is one of the better outfielders in the game. How can you propose to take one of the strongest arms off the field? I would rather see my team keep using Mike Redmond as the DH. I know he does not have much for power, but is one of our best hitters. He and Mauer are quite a combo at catcher. The guy I would get rid of is Lew Ford, I'm sorry to say. I like Lew, but a .250 hitter is not much use to us. A decent guy to get would be Dunn from Cincy. I know he strikes out about half his atbats, but he also hits homers the other half. The other spot that is weak is third base. I love Punto, a great fielder, but his bat is a liability this year. He should be our utility infielder and find a decent fairly cheap 3B to bring in.

I think that the Twins would make the perfect new home for Milton Bradley. It seems that the A's are about to give up on him.

I realize that it would be taking a chance, with Bradley's behavior short comings. But he would be a cheap (at todays salary rates) and major upgrade for the Twins outfield.

It would allow the Twins to go with Michael Cuddyer as their DH. He is a power bat, most of the time.

Bradley would bring speed and a .290 - .310 batting average into the mix. He would also be a sort of insurance policy, just in case the Twins can't hold onto Torii Hunter.

I am thinking that it wouldn't be a bad deal at all... if Bradley can maintain his temper and not be a detractor in the locker room.

Any thoughts?
