If he keeps hitting the way he is, I would keep him for one more year but only as a DH. Yes the Damon experiment is comming close to an end.

b-cups ..You are correct , Johnny D . is carrying that horrible lineup, and He's doing it with a dislocated shoulder ..He has always been a player that plays hurt , His whole career...That said , His body is so broken down right now , along with His age , You can only DH Him after this year , he is a tremendous liability in the field as it is now...As stupid as this franchise is , They would never re up Damon..You just chalk it up as another Cashman failure ....

mainah]SO... the only one with a definitive answer...was a sox fan...you yanks dubs ...can't make up your mind...pick at the sox...(who lead you again)...and go to bed dreaming of first place...(keep dreaming).

Mainah,

Right now, if you look at the last several games the Yankees have played, Johnny Damon gets the MVP award. So, he stays. Damon really wants to win and plays that way. He is a keeper. Bu wrote:

The Yankees would be 'tards to let him go...he is the only player worth a damn on their over-hyped team right now.
