This quote taken from Sheffield, is indicative of what a truly, uneducated, and uninformed individual, like a "celebrity" athlete, would say when he needs another 15 minutes of fame. I don't think he knows how to give respect, much less demand it. Since when did he become the "expert" spokesperson for the entire black race. If it wasn't for baseball, nobody would know who he is, except his family.
