About Me: Coach, teacher, education administrator. Not real fond of the Court of Public Opinion because I seriously believe that if the roles were changed the hypocricy would simply be "Too much to bear!" However, a well thought out "discussion" in which common sense and reason are presented in the argument is fun to participate in. I believe in opinions actually...even if I don't agree with them. It is what it is...you figure it out...if you want to!

I had a doctor's appointment this morning and the drive to his office took me through Eden Prairie, MN. On any other day this is an uneventful drive. However, as it turns out this is not...any other day...in the SW suburb of Minneapolis, MN. Nope...not...any...other...day...because the "Savior" has arrived. And I'm sick of it...him...already! Brett "My Daughter Made Me Do It" Favre had his first full day of practice as a Minnesota Viking today. And the News Trucks lined up outside of their training facility...and the whirlwind of activity in the complex...supports the minions of Minnesotans who think he is the second coming...of...yep...that guy...but not Tiger Woods. Those are other minions!!! And then I thought about it a little bit and thought, "Well, maybe you ain't looking at it the

Here We Freakin' Go Again! Seems Ol' Brett is a bit "conflicted" about joining the Vikings this year. A couple of weeks ago he didn't know if his surgically repaired arm would be ready. Then word got out that the Vikings...for the second time (?)...asked for a commitment from Brett...before training camp starts. Then the fervor over Brett died down for a bit. But...in light of recent developments...Big Ben's legal issues over alleged rape of woman in Lake Tahoe...Erin Andrews getting videotaped through the proverbial "keyhole" walking around nude in her hotel room...Lance Armstrong running behind in the Tour de

On Lisa's "test" post she informed us that we were 59 days away from College Football season. Most of us College Football fans agreed with the sentiment that 59 days is a long way off. Too long for most of us. And now we got to deal with Utah Senator Orrin Hatch calling for the Justice Department to investigate the BCS for violation of "antitrust laws." ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME??? HERE WE FREAKIN' GO AGAIN!!! The 59 days just got a lot longer. Whats up Orrin...not enough things to do in the Senate now-a-days?

First of all let me say that I'm all for a playoff system in College Football. I haven't been a big supporter of it in the past but the last few years have weakened me. The thing is that I don't see a playoff format being developed without seriously jeopardizing the regular season.
