    NEW NFL RULES

    Monday, November 29, 2010, 12:36 PM [NFL]

There new rules to take effect in the very near future, they will be enforced through fines, suspensions that are mandatory whether a flag is thrown or not:

    1. The QB is not to be touched, ne will be allowed as much time as needed to complete the pass to a Receiver.

    2. The Receiver will stop at the point of the catch and cannot advance if there is a Defender near him; the Receiver can advance until he meets up with a Defender, play is dead at that point.

    3. There will be no blocking at the line of Scrimmage, players will tell each other where they are going, play will develop from this, a block will be considered effective when each player is in front of another opposing player.

    4. The QB will be considered "sacked", if, prior to raising his arm to pass, he is confronted by a Defender...play is then dead...this also applies to RB's coming out of the Backfield. Neither will be physically touched.

    5. Lastly...as long as the ball carrier is within 2 feet of the goal  line it will be considered a Touchdown.

    WELL?? WHAT'S UP POPE?!?

    Thursday, July 1, 2010, 2:30 PM [General]

Just a short note to remind others of what I have said. Pope Roger and his minions still have not said anything about what has been occuring in the NFL.

No information has been forthcoming about the Vikings, the Colts, Cedric Benson...or the latest: Vick's "involvement" in a shooting. Does this make anyone besides me wonder...Goodell allegedly "hammered" Big Ben...matter of fact made a big deal about it...true enough, Ben needed it...but was it Pope Roger or the Steelers??

I think it is time for Goodell to "run the NFL" or resign.

Pope Roger and the NFL posturing??

    Saturday, June 5, 2010, 6:41 PM [NFL]

I don't post here, mostly cause I don't like the format, but here is something I find unsettling about Goodell and the NFL.

Been doing some light reading on the Fox sports' page. Seems there was a party of some sort that seven Green Bay Packers attended. Out this party came the news that one of the Packers is being investigated for SEXUAL ASSAULT, on TWO women. No name was released by the investigating officers, but 6 Packers were named and released...were not suspects I assume.

My question is what is Pope Roger and the NFL going to do with this? After all, he did nothing with the Titans' player who is being sued for sexual misconduct...the victim was stone sober too. I am willing to bet the farm that nothing will come of it...unless the Packers want something done...wanna bet??

I realize that the Rooneys were to suspend Ben for 4 games, however they turned it over to the POPE so that he could look like he actually does something. Ben IS a jerk and all that...but I really wonder is Goodell would have done anything had not the Steelers given it to him.
