    Kobe M.V.P.???

Sunday, June 15, 2008, 10:42 AM PST [NBA]

When does Kobe Bryant realize that his actions speak louder then words. Being an M.V.P. which in my opinion he did not deserve. To me an M.V.P. is not only earned on the court. But also off the court. He should try to be more of a role model instead acting like some jerk just because he gets paid a lot of money to play basketball. I couldn't believe what I heard when asked how he would deal with not winning the championship.

Doesn't this guy realize that there are actually kids who would want to emulate him? Coming out and saying that he would deal with by drinking? The way that society is headed with more and more of our youth headed to a path of destruction. He had a chance to make difference. Which once again he blew it. Alcoholism amongst the youth is rising and we are seeing more and more kids in treatment centers. I just paroled from prison and I couldn't believe how many men below the age of 20 were doing time for drugs and alcohol.

Who can ever forget his infamous affair that was done out of poor judgment or for a better word. Stupidity. Sure he paid the price for it. But why get married then have an affair within a year of your marriage? At a time when all eyes were on him already getting compared to Jordan. He blows it by having the affair. What kind of message did that send out? That as long as you are famous then its okay? Wrong.

Then his little childish tirade last year blaming his teammates and general manager Mitch Kupchak for the season that they had. Instead of just taking it and keeping his mouth shut. He goes postal with the media crying that he wanted to be traded. First off if I would have been one his teammates that he tried to put the blame on. I would have taken him to the basement and beat his a $ $. That is something that Shaq should have done. How could anyone trust someone like that? One day he is your friend. And next day he is throwing you under the bus.

Then he comes out a year later saying that Mitch is the best G.M. in the league. Kobe why do you have to continue to lie. You know damn good and well that you still don't like Mitch. You are one of those selfish little *&%#@ that only thinks of himself. I'm just curious to hear what you are going to tell the media if and when you don't win the championship this year. To me an M.V.P. is a player that personifies good judgment as well as a good role model on and off the court. Remember that our actions speak louder then words. It's to bad that your work ethic or your style of play doesn't match what you do away from the court.
