This was written to a friend in our Nascar.com site who we found out has breast cancer. While thinking about her situation, and all that has probably gone on in each and everyone of our lives. We all have every day problems. Some are worse then others. But thinking today, how would I react to news like that? Let's just say, for instance, that this day was your last. If you were to think back on this day, would you be ashamed of how you lived it? Or would you say, "I think I lived it well. I did what I should have done. I have no real embarrassment to speak of. It was a well-lived day." Good. That is how you should live each and every day. There will come a day when we might not be able to answer this question. It might come as a surprise, or even something like this where we suspect something isnt right. What a scary feeling. I just hope that Im never put in that predictament, because I dont think that I could handle it the way that she is. To actually take time to let all of us know. She didnt have to do that. She only knows us by our screennames. It just shows how much in her time of need, that she would actually take the time out to keep us informed. Now thats the heart of a true fan. Knowing that we just arent gonna sit here and not do anything about it. But in reality there is only one thing that we can do. And that is to show our support. I always take a few minutes each day, to look around and realize how lucky I am to be able to just have my freedom. Especially when I pass by the prison, that is just down the street from my work. Holly right now is in her own kind of prison. But remember that if the great warden wants to let her free its his choice. But with all of our support, it makes being in that prison, alot easier when you know that there are people, that not only love you, but believe in you. Its up to the great physician who has his eye on her, as well as his healing hand, to heal her if he so wishes. But to all of us who are hear. Take a moment each day to look at your life and ask that question, "Was it a well lived day

Just like the heading says. I still cant believe that after all of the carnage of wrecked race cars, that Nascar still wants to take a chance, on letting new drivers, with no Nascar experience try to qualify at Dega. Nascar! Cant you see that even experienced drivers, are having their troubles at the first 2 races into the chase. If they are gonna wreck themselves out, at least let it be there collegues that are doing it, and not some rookie. Heck even Juan isnt getting anymore T.V. time, because straight out. The guy cant drive cup cars. He is proving everyone wrong who believed in him, and all of us who didnt, well he is proving us right. So now you want to try another experiment with a total ROOKIE. Let the chase, be the chase for the Nextel cup. And not the chase to see if I can make the race. Villenueve, make him wait until he has some kind of seat time. And not seat time in a classroom, looking over Juans tapes of previous races, of what not to do. But an actual Busch series seat. Nothing wrong with that. Even Carl Edwards humbles himself enough, to think that its a major accomplishment, to win the Busch series title. (Pathetic) Maybe he's doing it for more experience. The smiley says it all. All I can say is that Nascar should not allow any new drivers to race chase races. Leave it for the guys who have earned to be in it. Even if they are on the outside looking in. But at least they were there from the beginning, trying like the other racers, to earn a spot in the top 12. The last ten races should be for the drivers who have regular rides. Not some team with no owners points, trying to get track experience. You have to walk before you can run. So make these guys walk before they run, before they trip and fall and do something stupid. Like ruin it for one of the top 12. The top 12 are doing a good enough job of there own, without ahy help from a wannabe
