During the Show Your Moon Tour we had, Jon464, Hanahan, Tsfanpc, Speedbeagle, Moseby, Dwindy1, 24x2,  and Jbroomy. During that time we had Noahspop son Noah flaging for us and will be a geat flagman someday.

During this tour I got to know Jokerswild as well and with that and reading other sports blogs became friends with Bleed, Blood, SteveOinHtown, Degraff, Mary Walker, Fuzzboss, Bolt, DFM, B&O, Tophat, NBAworse, NBA OUTLAW, WrenchWizard.

Frame By Frame NASCAR Vegas - Why Pit Now Steve Letarte?

Wednesday, March 4, 2009, 10:05 AM CST [General]

This will be my last Frame by Frame under the name Forensic2 due to Fox not letting me know why things are the way they are on here and for as long as a year and no changes as of yet. Funny how a few of my blogs they thought was great enought to send it to another site to advertise this one. I thank them for letting me blog on this forum but we all should be treated the same on here and something that happen a year ago or something else in the past has not been drop when others have been gagged and a week or so put back up. Enought said!

Where to start on this race, I will get right to the big one. No it wasn't the real big one we talk about at Daytona or Atlanta but it did put a few cars down a lap and out of the running for the win. Most know why this came about and I am going to go over it. Yes I am talking about the last set of green flag pit stops when Jeff Gordon over shot pit lane to no fault to him but to Steve Letarte. Most will say that was the turning point to the race. I will disagree strongly on that and heres why.

When you look at that Frames above and even DW said Jeff got distracted by the 48 instead of hitting pit road and locked up the brakes flat spotting the tire whitch would blow  only 100 yards away from this spot.  It could happen cause this is one of the hardest to get on to pit road with out being hit from behind and be at pit road speed in what I think is the shortest distance from track to pit road start line that is, IF HE KNEW THIS WAS THE LAP TO COME AND PIT ON A LAP BEFORE SO HE COULD BE READY TO DO IT!  Jeff finds out late coming down the back strech in to the turn that Steve Letarte wants Jeff to pit with the 48. This is what was said and I would say it starts when Jimmie is just before the Sunoco sign still on the track.

I would say when you see Jeff's car in the second frame upper right at the Sunoco sign is when Steve is saying Pit this lap, this lap. WHY?  This is not a draft up to speed race track for team mates to help each other out? If anything Jeff should have come sooner to get fresh tires and tryed to make up the distance he was behind Jimmie plus Jeff Burton who was leading. This would give Jeff the fresh air his car likes even if Johnson gets fresh tires after Jeff. Also Jeff was in fourth plce and Jimmie in second so it had to be close for Jeff to see if Jimmie was hitting pit road. This is what we get instead.

What did Steve have a feeling Jimmie was going to make a big mistake and slid in his pit box?  Now if he had just told Jeff to come this lap sooner then would have been ready to come down get 4 tires or 2 plus some gas and gone by Jimmie still in the pit box. Now like I said this seems to be the big turnning point of the race. I think the next frame is the turnning point of the race that would have change what happen here.

Just a few laps before green flag stops Jimmie is trying to take the lead from Jeff Burton and Scott ( I can't get out of the way again  ) Speed drifts down and cuts Johnson off and Jeff keeps the lead.  If Johnson makes this pass for the lead it would have gave Steve Letarte more warning to see when Jimmie was hitting pit lane and thento pass it along to Jeff if he still wanted him to pit with Jimmie.

Lets just say a few of the names we hear being in reck was doing some mighty fine driving to stay out of recks. First up is #00 David Reutiman coming back up on to track when the #8 had hit the wall and when Kasey Kahane did some fast work as well. They all talked about Kasey in the booth and didn't notice David's fine driving but I did.

Jamie McMurray after getting a tap from Joey held on all threw the trun to the back strech to  save it. Now I do think Jamie came down on Joey to make it  even tighter in the trun thinking Joey could hold it down on the line. Dind't happen but lucky Jamie's driving saved it and kept it going.

I wish I had more frames to show in this picture book.

Here is another from the very frist spin and I didn't see Denny touching till the other cars was already spinning.

Now some fans are known to jump band wagons like I did with hope that Mark Martin would make a run at the championship and I must say it looks very bleak for that and lets just say if you look hard you might just see a better sponsors for someone to help him keep his roll going strong. That is if everyone stays out of his way.

This next one is for CR.RACING when he thought something was not right in the restart order and I told him what I saw but in doing so he brought me to the attention of Robby Gordon who had to be on the lead lap as well. Now unless he dove to pit road one more time to top up after one lap of caution whitch makes no sense why was he behind Jeff Gordon who had to make at least a extra stop to fix car?

Then we had this wast of time of 5 laps and yes at the likes of Daytona it would be 2 laps for debri. I did some extra zooming in on this debri and I think someone is in trouble.

Now they talk the talk about how tough this Digger is then,,

Now I was going to take that frame by frame but said that would be to much. Now unless the  comments  say they want more then I will.lol What the worse thing they could do to me? Keep me from  being seen at the top of the board. Like that ever stop me.lol

Now when they went to break in the USA the feed was still live here and the camera man tryed to get even closer to see Kyle in his car when he knew all the big ones to worrie about where well behind him and he had only Clint and Jeff to get by to win the race.

Now this on is for HANAHAN and all the Wild Thing fans on here and to show I am up for great driving when it is done on the track and not off.

Also a treat  for SADIE like I said I would and maybe even KATIE might like to try the new Forensic2 Dog Reader Snacks.

Thats it for this Frame by Frame and I thank all who in the past have enjoyed and commented on my frame by frames under FORENSIC2.

God bless and always a big CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    NASCAR - What's Up with - Las Vegas ?

Sunday, March 1, 2009, 06:37 PM CST [General]

What's up with having a wild race like that and no one hitting the pace car.? This was a wild race and seems fitting that Kyle((  WIld Thing )) Busch  came from 40th to win this one.

What's up with Jamie McMurray save was one of the longest I have seen in a  while and even Kasey Kahne did some fast work to save his car from smashing into one with no other cars hitting them while this was going on like other races?

What's up with  Bobby Labonte running as high as  second place near the end of the race till the next What's up with.

What's up with Chad for getting to  warn Jimmie to watch out for Bobby? He will be leaving his pit box cause you are so far back in the field for once?

What's up with Dale Jr doing some damage control right and making it back in the top 10 in the end and not taking anyone out in doing so?

TSFANPC  Told us What's up with Jimmie 's bad start of the season and told me he found a four leaf clover to start this race with only to see it fly out the window just before he slid threw his pit box. What's up with that they didn't have any super max clue?

What"s up with the wheel coming loos on 2 of the Stewart Hass racing teams at the same time?

Whats up with HMS transmissions popping out of gear?

What's up with  never hearing  the end of me saying Mark Martin winning the championship now from HANAHAN even if 2 races DNF not his fault.lol

What"s up with all the engines blowing up from different teams?

What's up with Toyota qualifying motors blowing after 2 laps on the track and then the back ups going the hole race when everyone else is blowing up?

What's up with Goodyear having a great tire this week in Cup but not so well in the Nationwide race?

What's up with Digger digging under ground and trying to pop up in the middle of the track and leaving all those little bumps making the cars spin out?

I mean what's up with all the what's up with when I know I left many or may have missed. Well let me hear your What's up with?

    Cheers

Frame By Frame, FONTANA Pit Stops - Jeff Gordon & Greg Biffle.

Wednesday, February 25, 2009, 11:33 AM CST [General]

I know  me saying this will only keep me in the dog house but I don't care. HEY FOX IF YOUR GOING TO SPLIT THE SCREEN TO SHOW US 3 DIFFERENT PIT STOPS WITH THE CLOCK THEN STAY WITH IT.  You started it then right in the middle you cut to Jimmie Johnson's pit full view, get the sponsor in... then go back to the same one and show Matt Kensth drivng down pit lane and his clock still going at 40 seconds. LMAO.. Talk about rookies and I hope you have a yellow strip on the back of that production trailer.

Matt Kenseth and his killer bee's were tops all race long including the money stop at the end. This with how well Matt and new crew chief  Drew Blickensderfer  are on the same wave length could Matt be a dark horse in the run for his second championship?

Jeff Gordon even knew his crew needed him to be in front of Matt to give them a head start & that was not even enough. What I pick out on that last pit stop for the rainbow warriors was their age might be showing. No I didn't I am kidding. What I did see was a few of them should have gone to Specsaver cause a few seem to be looking for Matts car farther down pit lane then he was. Maybe it was the #11 black Denny Hamlin they though was Matt.

I like how the 2 guys closet seem to say yeah go ahead you 2 push him out while we look and see if we have beaten Matt out.  Now Matt has passed them and they still seem to be looking for someone. Yeah maybe they are making sure not to get hit, then those that are not pushing shopuld be getting out of the way as well.

Now on to Gregg Biffle who though Dale Jr got too much media for slidding in his pit box that he will give it a try and see hoe the media react to a mistake like that. Lets first say on behalf of Dale Jr a wekk ago and this last weekend Greg Biffle that some crew chiefs have come up with putting more brake in the front tires then the rear to make them turn better in the turns while braking. I don't know for sure if the Biffle falls under that cause I think his rear where lock up as well.

We know it's a no-no to run your hose over leaving the pit box. Now is it when you come in ? You would think so and to why they moved the car back. I do not know and someone can comment if it is or not. Now if it is then no work should have been done on the car and if any had it should have been put back be fore the car was moved RIGHT?

Lets go with that first and the front tire changer had already hit 3 luggs and I have highlighted with arrows one of those bad boys coming infront of the car before the hose sweeps it out of the way.

At this point the tire changer has no more air in his gun cause of the left front tire has pinch any more to get to him or the crew chief told them to back the car up. If it was be cause of the air I can see that.  If it was to just back the car up it was a waste of time. They move the car back and he hits the other two luggs and pulls the tire off and finishes and moves to the other side. Again I will ask cause of not knowing if the left front tire and car could be enought to pinch that air hose?

If it is not then they didn't need to back the car up be cause he had enough hose to come back around and hit the luggs on the left front tire and the jack lifting the car would have free the hose and off he goes. I did a line across the hood of around where the hose might be and plus he did have some extra already on that side of the car.

Now the next frame is after he has already hit the 3 luggs and is looking around to maybe why his air gun died but I would have though he would have raised it in the air to show the crew to get another one. Plus I though they all could hear one another, like him saying xxxx air gun is jamed. He looks around the front of the car has if to see where the hose is as well. Plus on nthis frame you can see what I mean by the extra hose he had with him.

I know I have brought up alot of things on this subject.  What I took from it was alot of wasted time and if everything was still working at this point above and ok by NASCAR then don't wast the time to back the car up cause the hose would be free when they got to that side of the car and the crew guy not over the wall could pull the extra back out of the way as they change the tire.

I think before this stop Biffle had the best car out of Matt & Jeff. I also think Jeff should have waited alittle longer be fore he made his run in the end., the last time it took 13 laps for Jeff to catch Matt  and another 6 to make a pass stick for 19 laps in total from the drop of the green flag. The last pit stop had to make his car better as well as Matt's car better.

They restart was on lap 35 and by lap 20 Jeff had got a car length to Matt and that was 15 laps and yes 2 more then the last time but Matts car was still able to go where he wanted it to and he took Jeff's line away that he used the last time to pass him. At ten laps to go Matts car showed some signs of giving up but by then Jeff's fronts where smoking.

Thats what I uncovered and if any of you  have anything to add be my guest.

    Cheers

    None NASCAR - Race Tracks?

Friday, February 20, 2009, 08:19 PM CST [General]

(( HELP )) I am asking for names and length of any paved race tracks across the USA that are not under NASCAR for a up and coming post. Its going to be a  post on all who post nascar on this forum and then some as well.  I guess a few dirt tracks would be all right as well. Lets say a track that can hold around 25 to 30 cars without being too gramped for space. The bigger the track the better.

    thanks

    Cheers
