Joerg Bochow: Although I'm in Europe, I follow the NFL quite regularly, and I manage to see 3 to 5 games a week. From the games I have watched so far, I get the impression that there have been a lot fumbles and turnovers so far. Is there any statistical evidence for this impression?
Last year through Week 4, there were 152 fumbles and 118 interceptions (not counting special teams fumbles). This year, there are 153 fumbles and 108 interceptions through Week 4. So nope, it's about the same as usual.
