    Pandemonium in Piscataway Part 2

Friday, October 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EST [General]

Well here we are one year later and another big Thursday night game for the Scarlet Knights. Did this game have anything in common with last years big win? Not much

after you toss out the bogus rating system and look at it as just another Big East conference game.

Rutgers sets a new attendance record 44,267!

To some this might not be such a big deal, but for a
Rutgers fan it is. Rutgers football tickets have always been easy to
come by and almost free most of the time.

But not now...............It's good to see the Scarlet Knights having some
    level of success and
It's nice to be able to tune in and watch them on Saturdays!

    Once Again Congratulations to
    the
    Scarlet Knights!!!

It looks like time is running out for the Mavericks

Monday, April 30, 2007, 01:00 AM EST [NBA]

So here we are after game four of the Dallas/Goldenstate series and all is quiet. Unlike last year where we were having heated discussions over this play and that call. It seems like no one wants to write a post on the Dallas Mavericks this year.

Well here's how I have it........................Avery Johnson is being out coached by Nelly (that doesn't surprise me) and Dirk is falling short of his so called MVP caliber of play. So what seems to be the problem with the Mavs? Why can't they handle a near 500 team like the Warriors?

The truth is that I have this photo file of Mark Cuban pictures showing different levels of whining and screaming at the refs and I am afraid that they will get tossed in round one and I won't have the opportunity to use them.

On one hand it would be sad to see the Mavs get ousted in the first round. So the Suns and Spurs will miss being able to play them and avenge any rivalry's from last year. But on the other hand.......................It's also a lot of fun watching the Warriors play basketball!

    Go Warriors!!!

Lets Face it Tiger Woods is the Best

Saturday, April 14, 2007, 11:39 PM EST [Other]

I don't know if any one era is better than another when it comes to golf.........But it's obvious that Tiger Woods is the best player in the game today.

How he will stack up to the greats of the game is yet to be seen.............But he is doing one hell of a job of it so far for someone that is only 31 yrs. old.

You can't take away from him what he has earned, and you can't sell the argument that he doesn't have any competition. Or that this era is inferior to the old days.

Still when we talk around the water cooler, I still hear the same old reaction: "Baaah Tiger Woods I'm glad he lost"!

During and after this years Masters Tournament I could hear the animosity echoing louder then ever and it prompted me to wonder............What exactly is it about Tiger Woods that you can't stand?

Personally my favorite golfers of all time are Tom Watson and Lee Trevino............But even I know that Tiger is on a much shorter list when we talk about the best of all time.

Now wasn't that a fun Superbowl?

Monday, February 5, 2007, 09:31 AM EST [NFL]

That was a fun Superbowl to watch lastnight! Peyton finally ripped that proverbial monkey off his back.....It was fun while it lasted......Eli must secretly be pissed-off now.......Because Peyton just placed-out the latest hurdle for him.

It has to be tough for Eli around Thanksgiving time...........Still sitting at the card table that was shoved up against the main table as a after-thought............And now this!          Peyton had this little spider monkey on his back for years, but everyone knew that he was a great QB.

But Eli has had that 800 pound gorilla  on his back  for  his  whole  life.  Maybe  not  in  his  private  life, but as a professional. We can only imagine that........I am not there when Archie raises a glass to toast at that Thanksgiving table.

On another note:  I can't forget Rex Grossman's comedic  tribute to Benny Hill last night..........After waiting for a half an hour for the Bears to get the ball back we  would sit and anticipate his next bumble..........Then the whole room would roar with laughter.

All and all it was fun ......Congratulations to the Colts fans out there!

Better luck next year for Da Bears fans out there!

    The *Barry Bonds sideshow......Continues!

Saturday, January 13, 2007, 12:14 AM EST [General]

My question is: Why would *Barry Bonds continue to use enhancers after the scandal? The articles that I have read all say that he tested positive for amphetamine last season......What kind of BS is that?....Who are they protecting by not announcing it when it actually happened? When last year was the test made or confirmed positive?

Maybe it's time for Bud Selig to stop being such a PC wuss and make a real decision on this matter or better yet just go away and let Baseball get a new Commissioner.

Like Rafael Palmeiro does *Barry Bonds need these enhancers to perform? Does Sammy Sosa need a corked bat? What gives here?............If your reputation and dare I say honor were on the line and you had a contract to uphold wouldn't you think they might say...........Wow that was close I'm glad I didn't get caught.......I'll never do that again! Instead it's right back at it, so for these losers.........They get what they deserve.
