About Me: I have lived in different areas and am faithful to their passions, give or take. Born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana (1970-1989). Knight was a central figure. I then lived in Chile, where soccer became impressed upon me more than before. Returned to South America in 2005 with my then small family of wife and two girls.
I love American football, b-ball, baseball, and more sports...

Big 10 Report, Week Nine: There's more than Corn in Indiana

Wednesday, November 1, 2006, 08:38 AM EST [NCAA FB Kickoff]

Kellen is the name, and IU is the game.

Mere coincidence that Kellen Lewis is the newest, bestest QB since Mr. Randle El (Hamdam wasn't bad; he has done well in Europe) and the same first name  of new b-ball coach Kelvin Sampson's senior son at Oklahoma?

No! The stars are aligned, Hoosier Fans!

The Big Ten has a new number 6! Tempe, AZ, there for the grace of goodness go we! December 29.

IU is technically 5th now after Penn State, but it is predicted 5 others will finish ahead, including Iowa, right? Yeah, former 15th ranked Iowa, prior to their visit to Monroe County, southern Indiana.

Michigan hasn't impressed much lately. I say they could get scored on by Lewis and Co. A great set of receivers, some hungry defenders, and a few special teams bounces...And the UM/ OSU match might be a bit skewed and rendered NOT the championship game.

You heard it here: Watch out Wolves!

Ohio State has a better offense. And maybe defense as well.

Penn State is not as good as BYU. Neither is Iowa. Maybe Wisconsin, but BYU versus any of those teams would be cool.

Purdue is down. IU must pounce and finish strong! Should be a great grudge match as always...

Should Northwestern with a young Fitzgerald out-recruit an older Terry Hoeppner? I don't think so. Sorry, Wildcats, you must now join Illinois at the bottom of the food chain.

I feel for you, believe me. Let's try to avoid losing to any more Div-1AA teams, let alone non-BCS teams...

Minnesota? You are in the cross hairs.

Purdue? You better buckle up those chin straps, because Hoeppner is more hoosier than Tiller will ever be. Get ready, Arizona, let's see if 8 wins is a good increase from last year's 4-7 finish, and the sans Hardy pasting I personally witnessed in 2005.

Peace, and get out to vote!

Vote for the best candidates, regardless of party politics, folks.

That's my sermon and shout out to IU, the fourth biggest living alumni in the country.

    Salaam!

Not too pretty, this revised format.

Maybe EdClinchSaint was spared the problems?
