I then lived in Chile, where soccer became impressed upon me more than before. Returned to South America in 2005 with my then small family of wife and two girls. I love American football, b-ball, baseball, and more sports... How long does this profile go? It's all good. Except: where in the cyberuniverse are all the comments from the last four years???!!!!

    Indiana Football---It Could Happen

Tuesday, August 11, 2009, 02:23 PM EST [General]

They have Eastern Kentucky to pound the first game at home, then Akron annd Eastern Michigan...or was that Western M? Anyway, then the brutal Big Ten and Virginia Oct.10.

Can the Hoosiers do it in college football this season? A bowl season?

    I think so.

    We shall see.

    Haven't I Blogged Lately?

Saturday, July 25, 2009, 01:26 PM EST [General]

    Haven't I Blogged Lately?

I wrote a series of 21 questions to bloggers...

I did at least 7 of them, including MeanDovine and Dudski and others, like The Dan.

But that was on a blog that was erased.

    WHOOPS!

Why would all this erasal curb my enthusiasm?

Blogging is ...not what it should be.

It's like Tutsis in Rwanda trying to believe the Hutus will keep them safe.

    Not.

Where are my 3 1/2 years of BLOGGING?

Soccer is the World Sport, but I still don't like Offsides Rule

Sunday, June 14, 2009, 12:20 PM EST [General]

Soccer is the World Sport, but I still don't like Offsides Rule

I watched most of the Iraq/South Africa 0-0 tie today.

ESPN2, you are great. I enjoyed the game. Even though I was hoping both South Africa and Iraq had been more aggressive offensively.

    But this offside rule?

Nope. I have always had a hard time understanding it, both tactically and strategically.

And what is wrong with scoring a few goals?

What is wrong with an 8-6 game?

Not enough shots on goals, not enough scoring.

Until then, I will still watch World Cup competition (and my hometown IU college team) and enjoy it.

But this non-scoring offside enforcing mumbo jumbo?

Save it for the third world.

Me and my first world aspirations will take the scoring of "slow" baseball (shout out to Ms. Horne), basketball and football.

And even tennis. You gotta love it. Love-forty.

And as far as the Iraqis? Good luck. You guys deserve some breaks.

    College Football is Great--but...

Saturday, June 6, 2009, 03:59 PM EST [General]

    College Football is Great--but...

    I really dig college football.

    I really dig college football.

But Houston, we have a problem.

And now the courts and congress may have to intervene.

Why can't the NCAA do the right thing...eventually?

We fans and alumni understand a few years of gaffes and blunders...A few years. But a few decades?

Nebraska getting whooped in the Big 12 Championship by Colorado and then going to the----huh? National Title Game at the Rose Bowl in 2001-02?! Wow.

Or even last year, Florida losing to Mississippi at home, against another one loss Oklahoma team and then playing in the BCS Championship game? Instead of undefeated Utah?

Okay, hope is on the way, right?

    Who knows.

Congress may be the ones to decide, eventually.

In the following list, you can see that things have become clearer since 1970, but there is still a ways to go...

Look at all the discrepancy since the year I was born!
