About Me: I have lived in different areas and am faithful to their passions, give or take. Born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana (1970-1989). Knight was a central figure. I then lived in Chile, where soccer became impressed upon me more than before. Returned to South America in 2005 with my then small family of wife and two girls.
I love American football, b-ball, baseball, and more sports...

Week 2 Big-10 Report: Eating Humble Pie Except for Ohio St.--Congrats

Monday, September 11, 2006, 04:21 AM EST [CFA]

My Indiana Hoosiers rallied under redshirt frosh Kellen Lewis (3rd string QB) to storm back in the sexcond half against not-bad MAC "power" Ball St. up the road from Indy in Muncie in front of 23,000 plus.

They trailed 23-7 at the half, their only points coming from a 100 kick off return by converted RB Marcus Thigpen. Whew!

They score 16 unanswered points in the the last two quarters.

Lewis is the new Antwaun Randle El heir apparent. Wow! How can we use Blake Powers AND him at the same time? Line up two QB's? Whatever will get us to six wins!

The defense sharpened up after being carved up by QB Lynch in the first half...

Ohio St. Senior QB Troy Smith could win the Heisman. The acquit themselves well against # 2 in Austin.

Keep the Big-10 on top, Buckeyes. Nice.

PSU? P. U.! Notre Dame is good, but the Lions have to be better than that! They struggled against Akron, but the Zips have some zip this year (upset of NC State on the road same day).

    More later...

Illinois and Northwestern give up the ghosts to NEW HAMPSHIRE and Rutgers...

    Is Abe Lincoln crying?

Iowa and Purdue escape in OT.

Minnesota loses to a sore UCal-Berkeley.

Wisconsin won and did cuzzifer care? Thanks for the affirmative reply, Oh Roasted one...

Michigan St. plus the Wolves do their thing...

Overall record: 7-4. Lots of close wins...

And the Buckeyes are definitely the team to beat. Don't you feel good about yourself when you spell "definitely" right? It makes all those years of school seem worthwhile.

Incidentallee, mye IU transcript runs from 1988 to 1999! Am I proud of that? I guess not really, but I did do a few cool things in between...
