About Me: I have lived in different areas and am faithful to their passions, give or take. Born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana (1970-1989). Knight was a central figure. I then lived in Chile, where soccer became impressed upon me more than before. Returned to South America in 2005 with my then small family of wife and two girls.
I love American football, b-ball, baseball, and more sports...

Religious private schools---Do they stand for something?

Thursday, March 2, 2006, 03:16 PM EST [BYU]

OK, second attempt at this. I was thrown by not having a bio... why is that?

My thing is religious private schools should stand for something more, and the players should also live up to higher standards. (similar to military institutions).

The following is a list of the top 7 private `religiously affiliated Div. 1 college football schools.

    1. Notre Dame

    2. Brigham Young

    3. Boston College

    4. Texas Christian

    5. Baylor

    6. Southern Methodist

    1. Who am I foregetting? Check my posts from the end of December and maybe I mention it...

Other private non-religious schools: USC, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Rice, and the military academies.
