I’m a 50 yr old man who knows a little something about beaver pounding. I’ve been a beaver pounder for my entire life. At my age Beaver pounding doesn’t come as often as it used too. Last years Beaver pounding was especially satisfying as I hope this years will be.

Last year the Ducks managed a 65-38 pounding of the Beavers to keep them out of the Rose Bowl.

This year in the 113 Civil war it again will be for the Roses except this time it will be “winner take all”. I’ll be looking forward to more beaver pounding but payback will be in their eyes.

The PAC-10 today reinstated Oregon running back LaGarrett Blount making him eligible to play Saturday night against Arizona St. I was all for the season long suspension until all of the other punches and eye gouging that got mear slaps on the wrist. Welcome back LaGarrett, I hope you learned something.

Since veterns day is coming up I would like to thank everyone who has served our country and for those who paid the ultimate price, your country is forever in debt. This is a repost of last year, though Pat is a true hero so are many many others who serve. Some of the pictures are from the old Fox format so they probably won't show up. But from the Degraffenreid family, thank you veterans, we are proud as hell of you. You make this country great.

I was watching the Cardinal-Falcon game and Chris Collingsworth asked the question "does Pat Tillman deserve to be in the hall of fame"?

Well that is a no brainier to me but I thought I'd ask my fellow fox bloggers (even B@O) what do you think?

This guy was an all American at Arizona St. and being a Duck I had my fill of this monster making tackle after tackle against my team.

He was drafted in 1998 by the home state Cardinals and was an impact player buy only played 4 seasons before entering the military.

After 911 he turned down a 3 year 3.6 million dollar contract to serve his country. Does he deserve the hall of fame? This guy deserves the Hall of Fame for being an outstanding human being and proud American, but NFL?

Damn straight! He put his career on hold to serve his country when his country needed people like him and isn't that what we want in a hall of famer?

Tell me what you think Fox. I think we need more heros like Pat Tillman.

A nightmare in Autzen.

As an Oregon Duck fan, when the schedules come out we circle 2 games. One obviously being the Civil war with the Beav's.

The second is our show down with the Fuskies of Washington.

This has been a great rivalry since Jim Lambrite made some comments about our program back in the early 90's. Then when slick Rick New-weasel was the coach, it was perfect. Some folks say it's just a jealous Oregon fan base but I spend enough time up in Dawg country to know it's serious both ways.
