Sports Illustrated curse has already claimed one victim this year.  Troy Smith got the double wammie when after two appearances on the cover of doom he succummed to the curse in a National Championship performance that could only be described a disaster.

Now the next victim is in the cross hairs of doom.  Peyton Manning can be seen larger than life on the cover of SI.  The Bears safely out of harms way.

When will teams/players learn to beware the SI.
