This is my favorite time of the year (aside from the kick-off weekend of college football). This is when we get most of our major sports all at the same time. MLB is in the World Series, NBA is getting geared up, NFL is in mid stride, college football is getting most interesting, and the NHL.... well the NHL is the NHL. Anyway, there is no lack of product on TV these days, and there is no lack of material for me to write on. My weekend will be filled with mucho sports, and my social life will be non-existent. It's just me and my TV :-)
Here's my TV schedule for this weekend...
Thursday Night:
MLB: World Series - Rockies @ Red Sox
CFB: Boston College @ Virginia Tech
CFB: Air Force @ New Mexico (hah! I'm a college football freak cuz I stayed up to watch this one!)
Friday Night:
NBA: Pre-season - Cavs @ Celtics
NBA: Pre-season - Kings @ Lakers
CFB: Boise St. @ Fresno St.
Saturday:
CFB: College GameDay
CFB: Every game that's on from 11:30am until after midnight. (Primetime game Ohio St. @ PSU)
CFB: Nebraska @ Texas
Horse Racing: The Breeder's Cup
MLB: World Series - Red Sox @ Rockies
Sunday:
NFL: Texans @ Chargers
NFL: Oakland @ Tenn.
MLB: World Series - Red Sox @ Rockies
Figure Skating - yeah I said it! Figure skating! I like watching the hotties as much as the next guy.
CFB: CFU @ Southern Miss.
So there you have it. My only date for this weekend will be some 18 year old Russian ice princess. I need some rest and relaxation, so watching sports all weekend should cover that. Maybe I'll BBQ before it gets too cold this fall. Enjoy your weekend and TA!
What's up for your big weekends?
