holy bleepin' cow pies batman....what's with all the hatin' going on? i thought we were all one big happy dysfunctional family here.
people have differing opinions, and some are very critical of certain teams, players, coaches, or a sport in general. other people are going to disagree. they get into it, one writes an entire post ripping the other for their differing opinion in the comments section of one of their posts. then the other does the same thing. i always end up reading them, and i just dont get it. the reason i dont get it is because after i read the fellow-blogger-ripping-post, i read the bios of the 2 who are at odds, and see something like...."i welcome any and all comments, even if they differ from my own."
the part where it says "however, if you do disagree with me, i will call you retarded, stupid, immature, ridiculous, childish, lame, gay, and every derogatory word i can think of" must be in the fine print, because i cant seem to find it.
so i offer this advice: if you cant really take criticism, deal with an opposing opinion, or just dont play well with others in general, dont claim its all good in your bio, it just makes you a hypocrite. oh, and another thing that makes you a hypocrite, is when you call the other guy a "retarded," say his or her comments are "rediculous" and question their intellect in general. newsflash, if you cant use the correct word, or spell it right, you have no right to call out the other guy for lack of brain power.
one more point i'd like to make, and then i'll stop, i promise. there are a few bloggers around here that like to bait others into a personal war of words with derogatory remarks about them, their family, and anything they hold in high regard. since it is obvious those who bait arent going to stop, my advice to those who are being baited is to ignore them. i realize it is not an easy task, but the more you respond, the more if feeds their need for attention. besides the attention, they also want to know that they can get under your skin. and by dropping comments on other people's posts about how you need help, are going to report so-and-so, or how you despise them, you once again give them what they want. more attention, and more people clicking on their blog to see what the fuss is all about.
to summarize, if someone says something you dont like, do what booker T says, and "save the drama for yo' momma."
