The Cardinals are "a dysfunctional mess." So Ken thinks it's a bad idea to part ways with the GM. I could see Ken's point if said mess were Scott Rolen's Snickers wrappers strewn throughout the clubhouse. But I'm assuming he's referring to the baseball operation, for which I believe the GM is primarily accountable. There's also a gem in there about this young upstart that did things unkown to Jocketty. Forget player movement, if you're the GM of one of baseball's ten legacy franchises, shouldn't you know what toppings the travel secretary ordered on his pizza? Looks to me that Walt and Tony were willing to coast on their names this year, and new blood isn't a bad thing.
