Results are beginning to come in already. Iran drew 0-0 in North Korea which looks like a great result for South Korea and Saudi Arabia (a South Korea win later on brought qualification to SA 2010).

As Joe our FSR producer said last night it was probably good that North Korea did not win - this way we don't get them launching a tactical nuclear missile under the guise of a firework display.

It looks like a dog-fight for the second guaranteed spot and the third spot which means a play off against 3rd from from Group A then a final play off most likely against New Zealand.
