Get ready now because if you had a moment in your life when you realized you have had enough of Michael Vick. Just wait. There will be a two week window of MEGAcoverage. NFL live will be on location with locker room coverage from Ed Werder. I say this to you now so you can brace yourself. I'm somewhat surprised over the lack of sportstalk about week 13 in the NFL.

Week 13 is when Michael Vick's Philadelphia Eagles travel back to face Vick's former team the Atlanta Falcons. It has Monday Night Football written all over it but it is set for Sunday December 6th 1pm. Maybe the NFL isn't exactly excited this game is on the schedule.  Matt Stafford is likely going to start very early in the season.  He could even be the opening day starting quarterback.  He is the first QB pick the Lions have had that I like.  He has been the man his whole life leading up to this moment.  It could have been worse.  They could have drafted Tim Tebow instead if he had come out.  What a disaster that would have been.

Matt Stafford will have the Lions in the playoffs in three years.  That is my prediction.

The Lions also picked up several key veterans Larry Foote,
