Curtis Kelly to Quinnipiac?
Apr 28, 2008 | 3:39PM | report this

In the past few days, Curtis Kelly decided that he is going to transfer from Uconn so he could get more playing time. Is it possible he could transfer to Quinnipiac, which happens to be in Hamden Connecticut. It is only an hour away from Uconn. Curtis Kelly doesn't have any offensive skills, but he is a terrific defender, who doesn't get the credit he deserves. Quinnipiac needs to get better at defense, as they play in the NEC. Curtis Kelly plays good defense, so he would get alot of playing time at Quinnipiac. Curtis Kelly said he made alot of great friends at Uconn, so he could stay in touch with them at Quinnipiac. Not to mention, Tom Moore, who recruited him, is now coaching at Quinnipiac. Not many people know, but Scottie Burrel is an assistant coach at Quinnipiac.

If Curtis Kelly goes to Quinnipiac, they will win the NEC, allowing them to make the NCAA tournament.

-this is a theory, though. but is a realistic one.

Redsox to trade away prospects
Apr 26, 2008 | 7:56PM | report this

The Redsox are in need of help. Jason Varitek is done, Mike Lowell and Curt Shilling are out, probably for the year, and their bullpen is disasterious. Also, their shortstop isn't that good. David Ortiz also just got hurt himself. The Redsox supposively want to obtain both Rich Harden and Joe Blanton, which would cost alot of prospects. If the Redsox want to trade for a first baseman like Paul Konerko and move Kevin Youkilis back to 3rd, that will cost prospects. Guys like Ramon Hernandez and guys like Hanley Ramirez will cost prospects. The Redsox would have to give up guys like Brandon Mouse, Jeff Marenston, Jeff Natale, Jed Lowrie, and alot of their other top prospects if they want to win another world series title this year. Guys like Jeff Natale, who happens to be one of their top prospects, will likely be traded anyway because the Redsox already have Dustin Padroia at second, where Jeff Natale plays. Guys like Jeff Natale will likely be included in any package for any player, as Brandon Mouse will as well because he is a highly known guy who is wanted on many ball clubs.

Derek Jeter will move to first base
Apr 26, 2008 | 7:40PM | report this

Alberto Gonzalez is a highly regarded prospect that the Yankees have obtained in the Randy Johnson trade last year. He is considered to be one of the best defensive shortstops ever, and he only played a few games in the bigs. But he has done will in April, being called up from the minors, and many are wondering what will become of Derek Jeter. I am sorry to say so Yankee fans, being one myself, but Derek Jeter is not the elite shortstop that he use to be. It is time for him to move to first base, and Alberto Gonzalez will take over at shortstop. You guise are probably thinking, what a dumb theory. But this is no theory. A few days ago I was reading about the switch in Espn Magazine. A move regarding Derek Jeter at first base and Alberto Gonzalez  taking over at shortstop is being highly considered by the Yankees front office and could happen very soon. This would allow the Yankees to trade Jason Giambi, or Hideki Matsui for more prospects, bullpen help, or whatever they would like. I am a huge Yankee fan and I am not proud of what I am about to say, "But the Yankee era we know is ending, but a new era is about to begin." Then again, it is quite exciting, old things won't last forever, but there will always be a new and bright era for Yankee fans.

-Once again, my source for this is Espn Magazine. You guise might think this is a joke, but unfortunetly it is about to become reality. Well, if it is fortunate or not, that is for you to decide.

Marlins to trade Hanley Ramirez in the near future
Jan 22, 2008 | 4:15PM | report this
The Marlins are trying to spend as least money as possible, and in order to lock up their young players without spending alot of money, they will have to trade Hanley Ramirez. I think they will trade him for players like Robinson Cano (of the new york yankees), who will be less expensive in the future, but will still be one of the best players for a very long time.

Jan 22, 2008 | 4:11PM | report this
Rumor has it that the yankees will trade hideki matsui to the san diego padres for a few prospects. the yankees will add those prospects to their offer for johan santana, an offer that would most likely include phil hughes and melky cabrera.
