APOLOGIES
Jul 29, 2008 | 9:43PM | report this

An apology can be meaningful or full of tire rubbish.  My apology comes from my heart.  I may have upset a few people in the past.  For that please forgive me.  I can't change a thing about what happened at Indy, but I can change my attitude.

You will understand shortly.

I came back from a war only to find that I had to fight another war here with our government and the veterans administration (VA).  I have been through hell since the last time I wrote a blog.  I don't want people to feel sorry for me -heck no-but I want our country to wake up-  just like every other vet that served in some hole in who knows where.  Right now I'm dealing with the VA, Social Security, and enough paper work to replant the rain forests.

Being an Indy boy, that race was disgraceful-but nascar did what they did.......

You all tell me what you think should have taken place-other than a normal race.

Dude.. what the hell does Virginia {VA} have to do with any of this? Anyway... you've earned the right to say what you feel, the way you feel. If they can't take the joke.. fornicate 'em!

I've got an idea.... let all 43 cars make a couple of caution laps with just the metal wheels. This could serve two purposes.
One, it'll cut some grooves in that stupid triangle and they'll have to scrap it.
Two, it'll show NASCAR and G/Y that maybe no rubber is better than crappy rubber.

Rock-on!

I don't know what you did that you're apologizing for but I know that there are a bunch of hyper sensitive ultra right wingers on this blog that sees no evil, hears no evil unless it's about a Democrat.

Our government stinks. (I know, I know, Love it or leave it. Ridiclous. When you stop complaining about everytime a democrat wakes up in the morning I'll stop complaining about people like Bush and Ted Stevens you right wingers.) What you have been through must seem like at times nothing when it come to dealing with the non party VA in this country. (Now they can tell me every other country is worse but you don't have to deal with other country's right? Just this one.)

This is only a blog. It's not a war theatre, it's not a job. It's just something to do outside of life's real problems.

Rant on. And thank you for your service.

Ahh...Yes... Thankyou xbulrdr8 for keeping me free. From my home town they are shipping out the National Guard unit. The 333rd M.P. Unit. My son and I are setting up a program for the kids from his school to right the 150 members of the 333rd. They are headed to Afganistan.

As for Nascar. As a fan I hated Indy and the way the dealt with it. I hope that as a fan I never ever get to see that mess again.

Good luck on your recovery. For all the problams we have, we are still in the best country in the world. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Glad you came out of hibernation Shorty. Welcome back. Sorry to hear of your plight with the V.A.

However if I am elected the next president of our country I will fix it.

Vote for Photogr for President.

xbul...thank you for serving our country. I just read somewhere that every U.S. veteran has written a check for an amount up to, and including his life. So thanks.

As a right winger let me tell all the lefties that the Govt runs the VA health care. You think they're ready to take care of the whole country's health care? Check the Constitution, folks. No where in there does it promise any free health care to non-veterans.

Ummm. Right wingers and Left wingers. Put the two together and you might have a flyable DO DO bird.

Haven't been able to figure out what I am yet. I know I ain't got no wings. Probablty I am just a Silver Back with my back end firmly planted on the ground.

Hey, Hon, I've missed you, your jokes, and your poetry very much. Only four days ago I went to a blog of yours (after midnight my time) from over a year ago because I needed to laugh. You are a very special person and I appreciate you very much. I don't know what I can do to help you, but if there is anything you want me to do I will do it for you. I, like photogr, am not a right or left winger. I have no wings either, but I am a supporter of YOU! Take care of you for us because many of us know and love you. Best to you!
