You know it is a bad board when the most attractive option appears to be the Giants ML on the road at Houston....Toronto ML should be a solid play at Detroit, but their road woes relegate them to alternate status..
I usually avoid picking the Blue Jays for personal bias reasons...but I cannot turn down the ML today at Philly behind Shaun Marcum....Kansas City RL is a good alternate behind Greinke...
With regards to the comment after yesterday's entry I think St Louis will continue to play well short term....the questions about them were mostly pitching related and whether or not Albert's shoulder would hold up for a full season....if those two things continue to happen up the Cards could defenitly be a surprise team this year..although i wouldn't be planning any World Series parades just yet...LOL
Speaking of the Cardinals, I Like them RL over the punchless Giants tonight....with Tor RL to avoid the sweep at home vs Oakland a good alternate...
Had my first win but no cover last night....sigh...oh well...at least I was right about Sea outslugging the Rays... and let's not even talk about the ridiclulous Toronto game...
Tonight I like the Cards to continue their improable good early season run by winning the series finale at Houston vs an ailing Chris Sampson....(Flu) Atlanta RL over Colorado is a decent alternate...
Got another win inspite of the best efforts of Brian (1st pitch swinger) Giles...who for the 2nd day running killed off a promsing rally by 1st pitch swinging with 2 out/ runners in scoring position against a pitchers who was struggling....not what you want from your leadoff hitter....this time however...the Padres won anyway....
Today I like Sea to get their mojo going against Tampa....although their bullpen is messed up right now...they should be able to outslug the Rays.....Toronto RL vs Oakland is a decent alternate....hopefully the Jays won't let down after opening with six against NYY and Bos...
