Liking the Angels ml tonight vs a "Start by committee" approach the Rangers are using tonight instead of calling someone up...Phil RL is worth a look as an alternate vs St Louis at home.
A rare chance to get behind the Marlins ML as they send arguably their best starter Scott Olsen out against the Rockies...NYM RL is a decent alternate at Philly tonight.
Liking the Cubs RL at home tonight at home vs Baltimore. Also Oakland RL is worth a look as an alternate at home vs Philadelphia for those who like to chase a price..
I usually avoid picking the Blue Jays for personal bias reasons...but I cannot turn down the ML today at Philly behind Shaun Marcum....Kansas City RL is a good alternate behind Greinke...
Not often I get to say this, but the Nationals RL are easily the best value on the board at home vs Pittsburgh tonight....San Diego ML is a decent alternate behind Randy Wolfe at Philadelphia...
I am not one who is much on betting the same team on consectutive nights but for the second time this year I am going back-to-back on the Mariners....tonight they send the unbeaten Carlos Silva out against a scuffling Daniel Cabrera.....the Phillies are a good alternate behind Cole Hamels...
Ok, so tell me the Tigers are going to get swept at home opening week of the season by the ROYALS of all teams?....didn't think so either....this team has to wake up sometine and today is the day...The Philles will also bring Washington back to earth as well for those who have had enough of Detroit for now....
Hi Folks...great to see baseball back once again....kind of a lame opener tonight with the Braves opening up Washington's new park...I understand MLB wanting to showcase the new park but still...oh well...
You simply have to like the Braves here...I know the Nats will be jacked for their opener but at best they are the NL's answer to the Texas Rangers...good to great offence if everthing is going right but absolutly no pitching whatsover...
if it is possible to be a sleeper when you have won the division for twelve of the last fourteen years then the Braves are it...that's what you get for playing in a division with a NY team and a Philly Team...both of which have far more vocal media centers then Atlanta...The Braves have addressed their issues with pitching from last year and as long as they stay healthy should be a force...
As noted above...the Nats could have a decent offence if eveything clicks...but they could also blow up big time very easily if there imports continue to have off-field issues...and in any event their roatation is mediocre to horrible, primarily due to inexperience...
Take the Braves.....RL for those who want to minimalize risk...but ML is a safer play tonight because the Nats will be extra pumped up....
