I think you should have played in the Home-Run Derby.  I am a Life-Long Reds fan and wanted to see you put everyone to shame.

The fans voted you in and I believe they, like me would have enjoyed watching you.

I don't know if you decided to play in Sundays game because you felt guilty and it was a good excuse not to participate the next day in the derby.  Don't you usually take Sunday off?

You are having a great year and I enjoy watching you play, but, the money we pay as fans to come and watch you AND the rest of the team is quite steep and you should try and earn it for the fans.

I remember when Pete Rose was one of the first players to receive $100,000 for a year.  He stated " I know I'm not worth $100,000, but I am worth as much as that other guy who is making that much."   He would have played in the Derby if he could.
