family genes... Some people wanted to know the genetic information and half wanted to keep it a secret, why?

It's hard for any child to follow in their father's footsteps let alone garner the same sort of success. The only siblings in the NFL that I can think of recently that've garnered that acclaim are the Mannings.
However in other sports there has been more success.
In the NFL however you've now got Denzel Washington's son playing for the St Louis Rams. Any semblance of success that he garners can't be placed squarely on his father's shoulders.
justanotherfan, Do you think JOHN DAVID will stick with the Rams?
Both of his his parent are actors, Denzel Washington and Pauletta Pearson, so being a football player and be good @ it will be traditionally his own making right?

Only time'll tell if he can make it in the league. It's said that the average life of player in the NFL is little over 3 1/2 years.
So anything beyond that would be an absolute bonus for them.

I think that it adds to their overall legacies in the end. Especially if they handled themselves well on and off the field.
I wasn't able to catch that much of the college games. It was either streaming or hoping for a US owned establishment here in London. But I saw that the Buckeyes struggled somewhat against their instate rivals. Whereas the Gators were all over the 'canes.
